Connect Two Bose Speakers to One PC (Party Mode)

  • by

Bose portable speakers, like the SoundLink and Revolve series, are famous for their ability to link together for massive sound. While activating “Party Mode” or “Stereo Mode” is easy on a smartphone, Windows users often find it impossible to group two speakers natively.

Why Windows Struggles with Dual Bluetooth Audio

By default, Windows 10 and 11 can only route audio to one Bluetooth endpoint at a time. While you can pair two Bose speakers to your PC, Windows will force you to choose one for playback. Trying to bypass this with virtual audio cables often results in terrible echo and desync.

Enabling Multi-Speaker Synchronization on PC

The correct way to link your speakers is to use Bose’s proprietary hardware syncing technology, rather than forcing Windows to split the audio.

By using a dedicated desktop manager, you can command your primary speaker to seek out and link with your secondary speaker. You can choose between Party Mode (both playing the same audio) or Stereo L/R (creating true left and right channels).
